Rock-it Radio is currently in need of a Rockabilly DJ. Preferably Rockabilly Music of the 1950's and of Roots Rockabilly Music today. DJ should have an extensive collection of Rockabilly music of both. Able to record shows on CD and send 1 to 3 shows a month to the Station here for airplay. WANTED - VOLUNTEER TRANSLATORS TO IMPROVE ROCK-IT RADIO! We would also like to expand our foreign webpage selections. If you are fluent in English and another language that we don't already have a webpage in - We would love to create a new webpage in another language. We will supply some phrases to be translated, and then we will build a webpage in that language. We already have webpages in Italian, Spanish, German, French, English, Russian and Dutch. But we are esp. looking for translators for instance in Greek, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, Czech, Romanian, Vietnamese, Bahasa, Polish, Bulgarian and any others. To Enhance our Listener's Club weekly newsletter -- Rock-it Radio is in search of a writer/historian of 1950's Rock and Roll to write on the history of bands, the music, stories of the music of the first decade of Rock and Roll. Articles can be written as often and at the pace you would like. Articles would be e mailed to the station here and then placed in the Listener's Club newsletter for the enjoyment and benefit of the Reader's of the Rock-it Radio Newsletter. Current circulation as of 3 November, 2005 was 5131 members. Articles should pertain to either Rockabilly Bands today or of Rock and Roll from 1955 to 1965.
