The International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame at 111 North Church Street; Jackson, Tennessee will be honoring Shelby Singleton will be honored with an unveiling of a life size oil portrait.
This honor will portray his �Larger Than Life� contribution to the music industry and will hang permanently in the �International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame, Inc.� located at 105 North Church Street, in Jackson, Tennessee.
The �Unveiling� will take place during the �International Rockabilly Music Festival� held annually in Carl Perkins hometown of Jackson, Tennessee. Carl was the first Sun Record Company artist to have a coveted Gold Record for this legendary recording company.
This recording was Carl�s mega hit �Blue Suede Shoes� which continues to be a popular song in Rockabilly and Rock and Roll music.Don Light, long time friend of Shelby�s and owner of Don Light Management,Nashville, Tennessee is host of this event honoring Shelby.
